The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the most talented and experienced rosters in all of college football, and new Kansas State transfer quarterback Will Howard has made it very clear that the mission for the Buckeyes is to win the national championship, nothing less.
During a recent interview, at the Manning Passing Academy, Will Howard did not hold back as he made it very clear that he sees this upcoming season as “natty or bust.”
“For us, it’s natty or bust,” Howard said according to Football Scoop. “I mean, there’s no doubt in my mind.”
Howard made it very clear that he thinks his team is equipped to win the title, and he’s growing tired of all of the hypothetical talk about it. Now, he wants to go prove it on the field.
“We have all the talent. We have all the intangibles,” Howard said. “Now, we’ve just got to go do it. I’m tired of hearing how talented we are and how good our team is. It’s about the work ethic and how we go to work every single day, and I think we’re doing the things that we need to to put ourselves in that position to be there at the end of the year and now we’ve just got to go do it.”
We’ll have to see if the Buckeyes can live up to all the hype.
