After his first year as a starter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love earned much praise. Love brought the Packers to the playoffs, where they decimated the Dallas Cowboys. While they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, there’s not much shame.
2024 could be a big second season for Love. The Packers kept the core around him, and while they lost Aaron Jones, the Packers brought in Josh Jacobs. After a few celebrated seasons in Las Vegas, Jacobs will join a Packers team with a lot of promise.
In a recent NFL Network interview, Jacobs praised his new quarterback and his “superstar” potential.
“To me, just from what I’ve seen, he has all the traits and all the tools to be a superstar in this league,” said Jacobs via NFL.com.
Jacobs was then bullish about Love and his promise.
“I think that as he keeps continuing to play and gets experience and becomes more confident in his abilities and what he can do, he’s going to be the next superstar in this league, for sure,” Jacobs predicted.
An ascent to superstardom in the NFL requires everything going right. So we’ll see if the dice roll in his favor.
