Dating perhaps the most famous woman on the planet was obviously going to come with some extra attention from fans and media, but it sounds like Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was quite a bit unprepared for just how much attention he would receive after he began dating Taylor Swift last year.
According to an inside source from Us Weekly, Travis Kelce “didn’t feel safe” early on in his relationship with Taylor Swift after people started showing up to his doorstep and having things sent to his house.
“People would show up at his house and leave things on his doorstep,” the source told Us Weekly. “It kind of freaked him out at first. He didn’t feel safe.”
This matches up with what his brother Jason Kelce said of the situation during a podcast last year when he claimed that Travis actually had to move out of his house as a result of the harassment from fans and media.
“He had to completely move out of his house,” Jason Kelce said. “People were just staying by his house.”
Obviously, that had to be a terrifying situation for him, but he seems to have adjusted to all of the attention that he new receives.
