Taylor Swift is obviously one of the most famous individuals on the entire planet, so when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began a relationship with her, he obviously knew it would open him up to a lot more attention from the fans and the media. But it doesn’t sound like he was fully prepared.
According to an inside source for Us Weekly, Taylor Swift was “worried” that all of the newfound fame that Travis Kelce received after he began dating her would “scare him away.”
“His life has changed significantly with the increased public attention,” an inside source told Us Magazine. “Taylor was worried that bringing Travis into her world would scare him away, but he embraced it and handled it so well.”
While that’s not what happened, a second source did reveal that there was something that “kind of freaked him out” early in their relationship.
“People would show up at his house and leave things on his doorstep,” a second source told the outlet. “It kind of freaked him out at first. He didn’t feel safe.”
Obviously, Kelce has now fully acclimated to what life looks like while dating the megastar, but it clearly wasn’t always easy on him.
