Former United States President Donald Trump has a pretty prominent friendship with UFC president Dana White, attending many UFC events with White in recent months and years. And apparently, he had an absolutely insane idea for White to consider adding to his MMA league.
During a recent speech at a conservative religious conference, Donald Trump revealed that he once had an idea for Dana White, telling him that he should start a “migrant league of fighters” in addition to his regular UFC league.
“I said, ‘Dana, I have an idea. Why don’t you set up a migrant league of fighters, and have your regular league of fighters, and then you have the champion of your league — these are the greatest fighters in the world — fight the champion of the migrants?'” Trump said during the conference, according to Kyle Griffin of MSNBC.

Obviously, this is an absolutely insane and nonsensical suggestion from Trump and it’s not really clear what he even means by this because UFC is not a league exclusively for Americans. Since its beginning more than three decades ago, fighters from more than 100 different countries have competed in the league.
UFC is very much open to immigrants. It’s not clear why Trump thinks White would need a separate league.
