Over the past several months, Taylor Swift has become fully embraced by the Kansas City Chiefs community after she began dating star tight end Travis Kelce. And it sure seems like she has fully embraced her Kansas City Chiefs fandom, as well, based on a recent story told by Chiefs team owner Clark Hunt.
During a recent speech, Clark Hunt told an insane story that shows the level of commitment that Taylor Swift has to the team as he revealed that the pop sensation was awake at 4 a.m. in Europe to watch the team’s ring ceremony and she used the word “we” to describe her Chiefs’ fandom.
“She is in Liverpool this week and we had a ring ceremony a couple of nights ago, which she stayed up for, it was about 4 a.m. in Liverpool, and she sent a social media communication that used the word, ‘we’ — so she is definitely part of the Chiefs Kingdom,” he said.
Hunt is not wrong, and Swift’s comments went absolutely viral on social media during the ceremony.

“YESSSSSSS,” Swift said in a comment.
“CONGRATULATIONS,” she said in another comment.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” she added.
“JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LETS GOOOOOOOO,” Swift said.
She even showed off her awareness of the team’s roster as he celebrated the re-signing of veteran wide receiver Mecole Harman Jr.
“AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE,” she said.
She did eventually sign off, but not after fully showing her support.
“Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys,” Swift said.
Hunt made it clear that he is very happy to have her supporting the team.
“What an amazing storyline that was this past year,” Hunt said in his speech according to The Spun. “First of all, we’re so happy for Travis and Taylor, what a great couple. My family’s been big fans of hers for a very long time, so it’s now nice to have her as big fans of the Chiefs.”
Swift had a pretty good season in the first year of her Kansas City Chiefs fandom as they won the Super Bowl for the second consecutive season. She’ll obviously be rooting hard for the unprecedented three-peat this upcoming season.
