Over the past couple of years, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have formed quite a rivalry on the court going back to their matchup in the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Game. Clark has never publicly said anything negative about Reese and has continually made it clear that she respects her, but Clark’s boyfriend has made some pretty subtle moves against her on social media.
Caitlin Clark is currently dating Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball player Connor McCaffery. And as one fan pointed out on social media, he has been “liking” posts that speak negatively about Angel Reese for over a year.
“Clark Boyfriend has been liking hate tweets about Angel Reese since last year and now her Brother on this app liking hate tweets about her as well but y’all swear Angel is the problem and that she has a ‘one sided’ beef with Clark tho,” the fan said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter, while also sharing screenshots of the posts McCaffery has “liked.”

Obviously, Clark herself has been nothing but respectful to Reese publicly, but this is certainly something to add a little bit of fuel to the rivalry between the two star rookies.
