Despite his soaring popularity following his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has not expressed any desire to get into politics in any capacity. But that didn’t stop reporters from asking Kelce about what he would do if he was eventually elected president of the United States.
During the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent trip to the White House to celebrate their recent Super Bowl LVIII win over the San Francisco 49ers, Travis Kelce was asked what he would do if he was elected president. And it sounds like he doesn’t really have political plans if he were to earn the office. His plans are much more fun.
“I would take Air Force to Hawaii,” Kelce said in a recent video posted on TikTok. “The Squad. Hopefully we can all fit. I think we could all fit on there.”
Obviously, this might be why Kelce has never expressed interest in a political career or even really shared much about his political beliefs – he would much rather worry about other things.
Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, meanwhile, is very politically and socially aware as she has shared her liberal views many times throughout her career.
