Aaron Judge has done many incredible things in his MLB career. On Saturday night, Judge accomplished yet another record-setting feat that had the MLB world buzzing.
Judge homered against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night. And while Judge’s Yankees lost, the 2022 American League Most Valuable Player made history. Judge set a new mark by becoming the fastest player to reach 280 home runs in his first 1,000 games. Judge accomplished this historic feat in just his 901st game.
According to Sarah Langs, Judge passed Philadelphia Phillies great Ryan Howard to become the fastest player to set this mark.
Aaron Judge now has 280 career HR, passing Ryan Howard for most in a player’s 1st 1,000 career games

Judge has had a habit for making history in his MLB career. In 2022, he set a new American League mark for home runs in a single season with 62. Now he has his name attached to a mark that shows how quickly he’s gotten acclimated to the game. It won’t be surprising, and possibly won’t be long until he hits career home run #300.
The MLB world had plenty to say about Aaron Judge and his history-making home run.
He has a 100-game lead 🤣🤣 Appreciate the greatest home run hitter of this generation! https://t.co/dZnnd3oAVg

So wild he’s already passed Howard. Especially if you ask a Phils fan cause they’d act like he’s an all time great lol. https://t.co/1jMfjTpwfQ
