The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the most talented rosters in the entire country and are routinely near the top of the national recruiting rankings year after year. And on Sunday afternoon, the Buckeyes landed yet another high-level prospect.
On Sunday, four-star safety Faheem Delane announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes, giving the team the No. 2 rated safety in the 2025 high school recruiting class.
Delane announced his commitment to Ohio State on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Delane gives Ohio State an absolutely elite young player who joins a high school recruiting class that is already among the best in history.
Ohio State currently has commitments from the top two cornerbacks in the class with Devin Sanchez and Na’eem Offord already committed, as well as Faheem Delane, who is rated as the No. 4 cornerback in the class. Delane joins that group, giving Ohio State four players in the secondary rated in the top-four at their position.
There’s a chance this recruiting class could get even better for the Buckeyes, too, as Ohio State is in pursuit of Trey McNutt, who is the top safety in the class and is from nearby Cleveland, Ohio.
