New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt caused a stir on Thursday. The second-year wide receiver out of Tennessee had NFL fans buzzing after he made an incredibly bold prediction.
The Giants, who last made the postseason two years ago, have fallen on relatively hard times. Prior to 2022, their last playoff appearance came during the 2016 season. They were ultimately dismissed by the Green Bay Packers, a game that lives in infamy due to a famed boat trip during the week.
In other words, it’s been a while since NFL pundits and fans viewed the Giants as both a serious contender and a perennial one. With that said, after several additions made this offseason, Hyatt thinks very highly of the team around him—so much so that he used the P word: playoffs.
Jalin Hyatt: “We have a playoff team.”
Hyatt thinks the Giants wide receiver room can be elite, especially with the addition of Malik Nabers. His presence should make things easier for everyone:

Hyatt spoke highly of first-round draft pick Malik Nabers, who the Giants hope will turn their offense upside-down sort of like another former LSU standout did a decade ago. But the Giants also made additions elsewhere too, chief among them EDGE Brian Burns, one of the top offseason acquisitions.
Hyatt’s confidence had the NFL world talking.
Obviously some unrealistic expectations here but Hyatt will take a major step this year.
Love the confidence even though he and everyone else know this team will not be making the playoffs again with Daniel Jones as QB https://t.co/5syV0UysOg

I love this confidence and I really believe it. IF Dimes can stay healthy, we have a shot. This is the most talent he’s ever had around him https://t.co/ISKWgGR720
