The Houston Texans made a pretty significant roster addition this offseason when they acquired Stefon Diggs through a trade with the Buffalo Bills, and it sounds like they are already excited about what he brings to the team.
During a recent press conference, Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik had some high praise for Stefon Diggs as he said that the wide receiver “has been great to work with,” pointing out that he is “so competitive” much like Texans’ young quarterback C.J. Stroud.
“He is a lot like our quarterback in that he will do absolutely anything necessary to win the game, whether he doesn’t have the ball, he has the ball in his hands, at all times he is in between the white lines and doing everything he can to win,” Slowik said according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC. “He is a good route runner. He has all the receiver traits you can ask for, but what jumps out to me and what fits with us and what we are always engaged with is how competitive guys are, how tough they are, and the style play they have.”
It will certainly be interesting to see how Diggs is able to help the Texans’ offense this upcoming season.
