For Donald Trump to win the upcoming presidential election against Joe Biden, he will likely have to win the state of Georgia, where he lost last year. Unfortunately for him, he and the GOP now face a pretty horrible situation in that state thanks to former Georgia Bulldogs running back Herschel Walker as the party is very low on money.

According to a report from Politico, Herschel Walker has more than $4 million in leftover funds from his failed Senate campaign in 2022 which would go a long way toward helping the Republican GOP, which Politico describes as “nearly broke” and “in dire need of money.” But apparently, Herschel Walker apparently has no intention of using that money to help Donald Trump with his upcoming presidential campaign in the state.

A Georgia GOP strategist with knowledge of Walker’s campaign explained just how dire the situation is

“Republicans are being outspent everywhere up and down the ballot and there’s a significant sum of resources just sitting there,” the anonymous strategist told Politico. “It could be supporting Trump, who did a ton for Herschel’s campaign.”

Obviously, this is horrible news for Trump in what is a crucial state for his campaign, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see how Trump handles this situation.
