The Cincinnati Bengals are without star wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as the team participates in organized team activities, but it doesn’t sound like Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is all that worried about it.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Zac Taylor downplayed the significance of their absence during OTAs, making it clear that both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are staying in shape and that he expects them to join the team when their mandatory workouts begin.

“[They] are still working hard elsewhere, and they’ll be back at the right times,” Taylor said according to Ben Baby of ESPN, “and the beauty is we know those guys. We know what they’re about and that they’ll be ready and focused when it’s time to come back.”

Taylor did not seem concerned that either of those two receivers would be missing out on anything, especially considering that they are veteran players who have been with the team for years.

“They have the information, so I know that they’re staying on top of it,” Taylor said. “And when they get here and are able to get those reps. I know that those two guys are vets, and they’ll be in a real good spot.”
