The Houston Texans made a pretty significant roster addition this offseason when they acquired veteran star wide receiver Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills, and it sounds like head coach DeMeco Ryans is already happy with what he’s seen from their new weapon.
During a recent press conference, DeMeco Ryans made it clear that he thinks Stefon Diggs is going to be “a really great fit” for the team not just on the field, but in the locker room as well.
“It’s been fun to work with him. It’s been fun just to see the chemistry that starts to build in our locker room with him, our quarterback, the other receivers, offensive players, defensive players,” Ryans said of Diggs. “He’s going to be a really great fit with what we do here.”
Obviously, Diggs has emerged as one of the most dominant and consistent wide receivers in the league over the past few seasons as he has posted six consecutive seasons with more than 1,000 receiving yards. Diggs will now be joining an offense led by young superstar quarterback C.J. Stroud, who had one of the most prolific seasons for a rookie quarterback in NFL history.
It will certainly be interesting to see how Diggs performs with his new team.
