Joe Burrow Syndication: The Enquirer

Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury last November. And as he works his way back from the injury, it sounds like he will not be limited in practice.

During a recent press conference, Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher gave a pretty significant update on the recovery of Joe Burrow as he made it clear that the star quarterback is not limited in practice as the team began OTAs last week.

“We designed the whole thing to stay within the constraints of where the medical people think he should be and where he wants to be right now,” Pitcher said earlier this week according to Geoff Hobson of the Cincinnati Bengals team website. “Nobody is sitting there with a special pitch counter. But we’ve been smart how we put it together.”

Obviously, Burrow will still have to regain some strength and shake off some rust this offseason, but it sounds like Pitcher is pleased with what he’s seen from the star quarterback so far this offseason.

“Really happy,” Pitcher said. “He’s got all his range and power.”

Burrow seems on pace to be back and ready to lead the Bengals to start the NFL season in a few months.
