Over the past several seasons, Major League Soccer has made a point to promote inclusivity and celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month publicly. And it sounds like they’ll be doing that once again this year with a special warm-up jersey to be worn by all teams throughout the league.
Earlier this month, MLS officially announced the 2024 Pride Top which features a camouflage-like pattern with subtle rainbow coloring featured in that pattern.
“Without confidence, there is nothing. Introducing the 2024 Pride Top, uniting us all in love. Get yours for June and beyond,” the MLS official account said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

The Pride Top is produced by Adidas and designed by Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar, who said their āaim for the collection was to expand the lens weāre seen through.ā Adidasā United Against Racism said in a statement, āthe collection is inspired by Brazilian swimwear and Pabllo Vittarās on-stage signature club style.ā
The jerseys will be by all teams throughout the league in celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month. The jerseys will not be worn during the actual games, but will be worn on the field as players warmup for games.
