This year, legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady will be taking over as the lead analyst for Fox’s NFL coverage, replacing Greg Olsen. And it doesn’t sound like Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce is necessarily happy about it.
During the most recent episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce called out Fox for choosing to replace Greg Olsen with Tom Brady, saying that the network “did him dirty.”
“I love my guy Greg Olsen. They kinda did him dirty over there at Fox,” Travis said on the podcast according to the New York Post. “But I mean, it’s Tom Brady, what can you do? Sometimes you just gotta do your thing. And Greg does a f–king tremendous job.”
But that doesn’t mean that Travis Kelce thinks Brady won’t be good as he takes over for Olsen. In fact, he thinks that Brady will be great simply because of who he is.
“Fantastic, because he’s f–king Tom Brady,” Travis Kelce said of the seven-time Super Bowl winner.
Still, it sounds like he is just a little bit happy that Brady’s ascent has to come at the detriment of Olsen, who he very much likes.
