Bronny James The Montgomery Advertiser

In recent years, NBA superstar LeBron James has made it clear that he wants to finish his NBA career playing alongside his son, Bronny James. But as it turns out, Bronny doesn’t necessarily sound all that worried about playing alongside LeBron.

During a recent interview at the NBA Scouting Combine, Bronny James was asked whether or not he grew up dreaming of playing alongside his father. And in a pretty shocking turn of events, he confessed that he did not necessarily share his father’s dream.

“No, never. My dream has always just been to put my name out, make a name for myself, and get to the NBA, which is everyone’s end goal that’s here. I never thought about just playing with my dad, but of course he’s brought it up a couple of times. But yeah, I don’t think about it much,” Bronny said according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.

Obviously, this is a pretty shocking confession from Bronny, especially after how much LeBron has talked up the possibility of them playing together, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

There’s still a strong chance it works out for the two to play together, but it doesn’t sound like that’s a priority for Bronny.
