Throughout most of his Major League Baseball career, three-time MVP Mike Trout has been one of the most prolific players in the history of the game while playing for a brutally bad Los Angeles Angels team. And it doesn’t look like that’s going to change this season.
As prominent sports media personality actioncookbook points out, Mike Trout has 10 home runs on the season, but just 13 RBIs. This, of course, means that only three other Angels players were on base when he hit his home runs, highlighting the offensive incompetence of the rest of the team.
“Mike Trout currently has 10 HR and 13 RBI, the kind of hilarious ratio only Angels baseball can produce,” actioncookbook said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, it’s pretty brutal news that Trout continues to be one of the most dominant players in MLB history on a very poor team, and the MLB world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.
what random team will Trout spend his "Ewing with the Sonics" years with? White Sox? Rays? https://t.co/FiktBHRz8V

No longer even has Shohei "Tungsten Arm" riding shotgun with him, cannot think of a Hall of Fame career that's ever been more wasted by the team that enjoyed it

if he played for the Orioles, dude would be 1st on the team in HR and 7th (!) in RBIs with those numbers. incredible.

He’d be a god if baseball was a 1v1 sport

Trout made it clear that he would be open to the possibility of playing for another team. It’s looking like that’s the only real chance he has to be on a winning team.
