Last week, Elon Musk and Tesla were hit with some pretty terrible news as the company was forced to recall all of its Cybertrucks due to a dangerous flaw that could cause the accelerator pedal to stick, putting drivers at risk. But pop star Katy Perry does not seem to be afraid of any issues regarding the vehicle.
This week, Katy Perry shared a photo on social media standing with what appears to be a Cybertruck. While it’s not clear whether it was a gift or a new purchase, she thanked founder and CEO Elon Musk for the “delivery.”
“thx for the delivery @elonmusk #idol” Perry said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

“Looks good,” Musk said in a reply to the post.
Obviously, this interaction between the two celebrities led to a lot of reactions on social media.

It’s worth noting that Tesla has made it clear the company is correcting the problem with the accelerator pedal on all of the current unsold models of the vehicle and will be building all of its new models with a new pedal that remedies the issue.
So even though this photo was posted shortly after the massive recall, it’s likely that Perry’s car is safe from that problem.
