Last week, former five-star cornerback Cormani McClain shockingly announced his decision to leave the Colorado Buffaloes football program after spending just one season with Deion Sanders, and he has some pretty harsh words for his former team as he looks for his next program.
Following his decision to transfer from Colorado, Cormani McClain took questions from fans on YouTube, and he had some pretty brutal words for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in his responses.
“I want to change the narrative of what everyone’s thinking on my name, be a part of a real and a great program that’s going to impact me at my best ability,” McClain said. “Yeah, ready to get to a new place and get to work.”
Cormani McClain put out a youtube video.

McClain went on to imply that he felt like he was playing for “clicks” at Colorado and he doesn’t want to do that anymore.
“I feel like I just don’t want to play for clicks. I actually want to be involved with a great leading program that’s going to develop players,” McClain said.
McClain will obviously be one of the most high-profile players in the transfer portal as he was one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2023 high school recruiting class before signing with Colorado out of high school.
