Former five-star quarterback prospect Arch Manning – the cousin of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning – has not had much of a chance to show what he can do since signing with the Texas Longhorns before the 2023 season, and he’s unlikely to start this year either with starter Quinn Ewers returning. But he got a chance to show what he could do in the spring game, and he certainly made the most of the opportunity.
During the first quarter of Texas’ annual spring game on Saturday, Arch Manning threw an extremely deep pass to Longhorns wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr. for a 75-yard touchdown.
Moore was wide open streaking up the middle of the field and Manning showed off his impressive arm strength to hit him right in stride for the touchdown pass.

The clip quickly went viral on social media as fans offered their reaction to the young player’s arm strength.

Manning was the highest-rated player in the 2023 high school recruiting class when he signed with Texas ahead for the 2023 season. He did play much as he was behind both starter Quinn Ewers and backup Maalik Murphy on the depth chart. But with Murphy now gone, Manning could be in line for more playing time this season.
