Former USC Trojans star and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams is set to become the No. 1 overall pick by the Chicago Bears in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. And as he begins his professional career in the NFL, it sounds like there is one player he is targeting: Tom Brady.
Tom Brady is widely considered the greatest NFL quarterback of all time as he won seven Super Bowl titles – six of which he won with the New England Patriots, who drafted him out of college.
And in a recent appearance on The Pivot podcast, Caleb Williams made it very clear that he wants to chase that legacy with the Chicago Bears.
This, from USC QB Caleb Williams, has to be music to @ChicagoBears fans' ears: "I want to play at one place for 20 years, and chase one guy—No. 12. I want a place that loves ball. That's all I've heard about Chicago so far." https://t.co/AX105HzzYd

“I want to play at one place for 20 years, and chase one guy—No. 12. I want a place that loves ball. That’s all I’ve heard about Chicago so far,” Williams said on the podcast.
Obviously, Williams has a long way to go before he is even ready to start his first game in the NFL, much less chase Tom Brady as the greatest quarterback of all time.
Still, this is obviously the mentality that you want your starting quarterback to have, even this early in their professional career.
