On Wednesday, former Miami Hurricanes star Hanna Cavinder announced that she would be returning to Miami for one final season of college basketball after taking the 2023-24 season off. And it sounds like her twin sister Haley will be returning to the Hurricanes to join her.
Haley Cavinder transferred from Miami to TCU in November where she intended to play the final season of her collegiate career. But on Thursday, she announced that she will actually be transferring back to Miami to play her final season alongside her sister Hanna.
“Given the news yesterday that my sister was returning to play ball at Miami and after careful consideration and thought, I’ve decided to return to the University of Miami and play with Hanna for our final and 5th year. There is nothing more important than family and the bond I share with my Twin sister. Being presented with the opportunity to play together one more time is something I cannot pass up. I am excited for this upcoming season and cant wait to play at the U,” Haley said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
