Rick Ross is expanding his business ventures with a new partnership with restaurant chain Wingstop. Ross will invest in the company and open his first store this fall in Memphis, TN. Here is the location and address for his upcoming store on Google Maps. It should come as no surprise that Officer Ricky has decided to lend his name to the popular wing destination—he name dropped his love for Wingstop in the song “MC Hammer” on his Teflon Don album.
Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com:
“After tasting Wingstop’s signature lemon pepper–flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments.”
Fair enough Rick. Rozay isn’t the first public figure to invest in Wingstop. NFL star Troy Aikman invested; he currently sits on the Board of Directors for the company.
What does Jim Flynn, CEO of Wingstop, think about bringing the founder of Maybach Music Group on board?
“Rick Ross will be a great addition to the wing stop family. He’s a talented artist and brings a huge fan base to the concept. We look forward to growing the brand with him in Memphis.”
