It’s certainly been a wild offseason for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. The team decided to use their franchise tag to keep him in Cincinnati for the 2024 season but he then requested a trade from the team. He has since made it clear that he does expect to play for Cincinnati this year, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be at the team’s voluntary offseason program.
The Bengals are set to begin their voluntary offseason program this week, but Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor made it very clear that he would not speculate who was and who was not going to be in attendance for the team’s voluntary offseason program.
“I won’t speculate who’s going to be here for the voluntary program,” Taylor said according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Taylor went on to say that the team intends to “keep everything internal” regarding their continued communication with Tee Higgins.
So while his status with the team will be one of the biggest offseason storylines in Cincinnati and throughout the league, it doesn’t sound like the team will be offering all that much information on the matter in the media as we head into the upcoming season.
