The Seattle Seahawks appear set to move forward with starting quarterback Geno Smith after he signed a new long-term contract with the team before the start of the 2023 NFL season, but it doesn’t sound like that is stopping the team from looking into quarterbacks in the NFL Draft.
According to a report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC, the Seattle Seahawks visited with Oregon Ducks star quarterback Bo Nix this weekend as they consider their options heading into the NFL Draft.

A Heisman Trophy finalist, Nix passed for 4,508 yards and 45 touchdowns and rushed for 234 yards and six touchdowns last season. Including time @AuburnFootball Nix passed for 15,352 career yards, 108 touchdowns and 26 interceptions and went 43-18 as a starter @KPRC2,” Wilson said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

In addition to having Geno Smith as their starting quarterback, the Seahawks also added former Washington Commanders starting quarterback Sam Howell to serve as his backup.
We’ll have to see whether or not the team brings in Nix or another quarterback to give them more options at the position in the future.
