Superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans on Wednesday morning in a blockbuster deal. And before that trade was made public, Diggs had some a pretty brutal message about quarterback Josh Allen that has since gone viral.
On Tuesday, NFL analyst Robert Griffin III posted a video where he asked the question “Is Stefon Diggs essential to Josh Allen’s success?”
A fan responded to Grffin’s question by suggesting that while Diggs does help Allen, he isn’t “essential” to Allen’s success.
“Does Josh benefit from having a top tier receiver, yes. Is he essential to his success, no,” the fan said.
But Diggs himself didn’t seem to agree.

“You sure ?” Diggs asked the fan.
Obviously, Diggs seems to be calling out Josh Allen a bit by suggesting that Allen would not have been as successful in the NFL if he weren’t playing alongside Diggs.
Needless to say, these words from Diggs quickly went viral on social media with people offering their reactions.
I need to know the story behind this breakup because you don’t just give up your only competent WR + eat $30M in dead money.
This wasn’t a cap casualty. This has been in the making for over a year and it became public once Diggs was a no-show for camp.

After this trade, we’re soon going to find out exactly how Allen is able to perform without Diggs and whether or not Diggs played a big role in his success the past few seasons.
