The WWE has been synonymous with bringing in popular figures for their big events in the past, whether it be top athletes like Mike Tyson or celebrities like Donald Trump. And with this year’s WrestleMania set to take place in Philadelphia, they have even reached out to a Philly sports icon.
Star offensive lineman Jason Kelce recently decided to call it quits on his NFL career after an uber-successful 13-year NFL career, earning a Pro Bowl bid in seven of those years.
He spent the entirety of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. So to say that he is beloved by the Philadelphia community may even be a bit of an understatement.
WrestleMania is just around the corner, with the two-night event set to take place on Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field, the home of the Eagles.
With this in mind, reports have now emerged that the WWE has reached out to Kelce about potentially making an appearance at the highly anticipated event.

It’s obviously unclear what Kelce’s role would look like if he does indeed attend the event. Could he potentially even wrestle a match at WrestleMania? Potentially, but many interested wrestling fans are seemingly open to whatever appearance he may make.

Kelce sure has the size to become a wrestler if he was actually interested in wrestling for the WWE. But at the moment, this seems like it may be a one-time guest appearance if Kelce actually does agree to appear at all.
One thing that is for certain is that wrestling fans and Philadelphia sports fans alike seem to be very intrigued by the possibility of Kelce showing up at the “grandest stage of them all”.
