The Arizona Cardinals will likely have a chance to select former Ohio State Buckeyes superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, and according to one of Harrison’s former teammates, that’s what he wants.
During a recent appearance on the “Cardinals Corner” podcast, Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. – a former teammate of Marvin Harrison Jr. with the Ohio State Buckeyes – claimed that Harrison told him he wanted to play for the Arizona Cardinals.
“I literally went to Marvin and was like, ‘Dude, you know you’re a Cardinal, right?’ I knew he was going to be a Cardinal because I saw what happened with [DeAndre Hopkins]. I’m like, the Cardinals are probably going to want another 6-4 receiver. So I’m like, dude, I have a feeling, you’re probably going to be a Cardinal,” Johnson said on the podcast according to Larry Brown Sports.
“He said he wanted to be a Cardinal.”
Obviously, we’ll have to see whether or not the Cardinals will make that happen, but it is certainly looking like they will at least have a chance as the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots are all expected to select quarterbacks ahead of them.
