Earlier this offseason, Dallas Cowboys team owner and general manager Jerry Jones boldly declared that the team was planning to go “all-in” this offseason in an attempt to contend for a Super Bowl next season instead of setting the team up for the future.
It was obviously pretty big news for Cowboys fans that Jerry Jones and the team was taking that approach to the 2024 season. And this week, quarterback Dak Prescott offered his reaction to the news, making it clear that he is interested and excited to see what sort of moves Jones decides to make this offseason.
“Yeah, I’ve heard that one. I’m excited to see it honestly,” Prescott said according to Garrett Podell of CBS Sports. “I don’t know. I can’t say I’ve had talks with him about what is all in and how you plan on making those moves. So, let’s see. I’m excited about it.”
Obviously, the Cowboys fell short of their goals during the 2023 season as they fell in the Wild Card round of the playoffs to the Green Bay Packers in a blowout loss that ended their season.
We’ll have to see how exactly Jones is planning to go all-in this season and if it yields a better result than last season.
