The Ohio State Buckeyes are in need of a new head coach after the program decided to fire head coach Chris Holtmann last month. And it sounds like noted Ohio State fan LeBron James has already made his pick for who he would like the next coach to be.
According to a report from long-time college sports writer Mike Wachsman of College Football Focus, LeBron James is currently “pushing” for Ohio State to hire current Florida Atlantic head coach Dusty May – and he’d be willing to make a massive monetary donation to Ohio State if it happens.

Additionally, James would help out the basketball program with a large monetary donation, in the millions,” Wachsman wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
James has long been a supporter of Ohio State athletics, donating gifts to the football and basketball teams. He even has an honorary locker within the Ohio State basketball locker room.
We’ll have to see if he ultimately gets his wish.
