Former Michigan Wolverines offensive coordinator Josh Gattis addressed a nasty social media rumor this week and appeared to call out Michigan for NCAA violations in the process.
Texas Longhorns superstar wide receiver Xavier Worthy was initially committed to play at Michigan but ultimately ended up at Texas due to a snag in his enrollment process. After he blossomed into a star at Texas, a nasty rumor popped up suggesting why Michigan ultimately lost him to Texas at the last minute. And Gattis took to social media to shut it down
“It’s time this [stuff] ends. The slander has crossed the line for too long. Don’t make excuses for admission…. Or how about look into being on campus during covid. Want to keep on?” Gattis wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Gattis went on to suggest the existence of “violations” from Michigan.
“I’ve taken the high road too long while you & others slander my integrity & family. Ask why Admissions said they wouldn’t require a ACT but denied mid year because of a ACT 4 days before enroll. Do you want the violations too? Emails?” Gattis said in a follow-up post.
Gattis went on to further imply that he has dirt on Michigan and that some reporters have it too.
no bag just receipts! The rivals reporters know the truth…. Go dig them up for the ncaa. Have fun but leave my name, family out of your mouth.

It’s certainly an interesting development.
