Ever since the Los Angeles Chargers brought in former Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach last month, there have been a lot of expectations placed on Harbaugh, with the new coach himself indicating that he wanted to win “multiple, multiple championships” with the team. And you can count star pass rusher Joey Bosa among those with high expectations.
During a recent interview with the New York Post, Joey Bosa was asked whether or not Jim Harbaugh will change the team’s fortune as it seeks a Super Bowl, and he made it clear that those are the expectations.
“That’s an expectation for sure,” Bosa said according to Jared Schwartz of the New York Post. “I’d like to win Game One first, then we can talk about Week Two and then Week Three. Sometimes getting caught up with all the Super Bowl talk and all the hype gets you unfocused and worrying about the wrong things when you should just be worrying about what’s in front of you.
“There’s a lot of talk of Super Bowl every year, and every year I kind of have a similar answer like ‘alright, let’s see how the first week goes and then we’ll talk about that.’”
We’ll have to see if Harbaugh lives up to these lofty expectations.
