As former United States President Donald Trump celebrated his victory in the South Carolina primary election this week, he was joined on stage by an NFL team owner: New York Jets owner Woody Johnson.
Woody Johnson served as U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom during the Trump administration. And now as Donald Trump is once again seeking to be elected to office, it’s clear that Johnson will be endorsing him and supporting him once again.
Earlier this month, Johnson opened up about why he will be supporting Trump in the upcoming presidential election and offered a prediction about how he thinks the race against Joe Biden is currently trending.
“Americans remember how good it was or how much better it was on the border, and inflation, and gas prices, and grocery prices, all that, during the Trump administration, and they want to get back there,” Johnson told Fox News earlier this month.
“So I think the most important thing is getting the former president back in the White House, which looks like it’s happening,” Johnson continued.
Johnson obviously has a long history of supporting Trump and it’s clear that he will be doing it once again this year.
