As Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce prepares for the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, it sounds like he’s running into a pretty stressful situation that has nothing to do with football.
During the most recent episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason, Travis Kelce revealed that he is frustrated with how much money he is having to spend on Super Bowl tickets for his friends and family.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this [darn] Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” Kelce said on the podcast according to Yahoo Sports.
“Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” Kelce continued.
Obviously, it’s pretty brutal news for Kelce that he has to worry about how much the tickets cost, and his comments led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

It’s worth noting that the players participating in Super Bowl LVIII will receive a pretty significant bonus with players on the winning team earning $164,000 each while players on the losing team earn $89,000. But it’s pretty clear that this still isn’t enough to cover what Kelce is paying for tickets.
