As Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce prepares for the Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, he has spent a lot of the week fielding questions about his newfound relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, leading some to believe that the relationship has caused a distraction for him and his team. But it doesn’t sound like he thinks that way.
During a press conference this week, Travis Kelce was asked directly whether or not he thought his relationship with Taylor Swift was a distraction, and he shot it down pretty firmly.
“Everybody is subject to their own opinion on everything, but I feel like it’s only giving me energy, man,” Kelce said.
Travis when asked if all the attention has been a distraction:
"Everybody is subject to their own opinion on everything, but.. I feel like it's only giving me energy man.. I'd be silly to find ANY negativity with what's going on in my life.." pic.twitter.com/78T524R5Um

“I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am in life, and to have the amazing things going for me,” Kelce continued. “And you know what, I’d be silly to find any negativity with what’s going on in my life.”
So while some people might want to suggest that Swift has been a distraction for Kelce, it’s pretty clear that he only sees his newfound relationship as a benefit and something that has brought a new sense of joy into his life.
