Despite a strong regular season, the Dallas Cowboys had a pretty disappointing finish, suffering a blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs. And it’s pretty clear that Jerry Jones wants to make sure that doesn’t happen next year.
During an interview ahead of the NFL Awards on Friday night, Jerry Jones discussed the team’s loss to the Green Bay Packers and made it very clear just how disappointed he was with the way things ended for the Cowboys in the playoffs.
“Believe you me, no one in the world is more appreciative of how much we let the fans down by not getting it done against Green Bay. We gotta change that. And we’ll do everything to do it,” Jones said.

Jones also opened up about losing former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to the Washington Commanders where he is set to become their next head coach, but he expressed confidence in new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer as the team looks to make a deep playoff run next season.
Obviously, Cowboys fans weren’t happy with the way the season ended, but it’s pretty clear that Jones isn’t happy either. We’ll have to see what kind of changes he and the team make this offseason.
