Earlier this month, the Ohio State Buckeyes landed arguably the top running back in the transfer portal when former Ole Miss Rebels star Quinshon Judkins signed with Ohio State. But signing with Ohio State meant splitting carries with another star Ohio State running back as TreVeyon Henderson is returning next season. But that doesn’t sound like it bothers Judkins.

During his first interview since signing with Ohio State, Quinshon Judkins opened up about the idea of splitting carries with another star running back, saying that he was willing to make that sacrifice for “a cause that’s bigger than yourself.”

“I think just the idea of coming to a team where you’re playing for something bigger than yourself,” Judkins said according to Eleven Warriors. “A lot of great players have come here as you’ve seen through the portal. I think when you come together for a cause that’s bigger than yourself, you have great players around you, you want to win, and that’s what it’s all about.”

Thanks to the selfless move from Judkins, Ohio State will enter the 2024 college football season with what appears to be the best running backs duo in the entire country. We’ll have to see if it helps them as they try to win a national title.
