Taylor Swift has become a mainstay at Kansas City Chiefs games throughout the season as she has attended many games in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce. She’ll be in attendance for Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs but don’t expect her to be sitting next to the father of Patrick Mahomes.
During an appearance on WFAN Sports Radio’s “Evan & Tiki” show this week, Pat Mahomes Sr. was asked whether or not he would be sitting with Taylor Swift during Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens. And he had a pretty brutal message to the pop superstar in response.
“I hope not,” the Mahomes said according to Yahoo Sports.
Mahomes was joking, of course, and he went on to explain that the two probably would not end up in the same box for Sunday’s game.
“No, I don’t think so. Travis [Kelce] normally has his own thing and Patrick [Mahomes] has his own deal too,” he said. “I imagine if Taylor [Swift] wants her own suite, she’s got enough money to get whichever one she wants.”
It was definitely just a joke, but there is probably some truth to the fact that Mahomes Sr. might simply want to avoid all that attention.
