Over the weekend, LeBron James had the opportunity to watch his son, Bronny James, make his college debut for the USC Trojans when they took on Long Beach State. But it’s what happened as LeBron James took his seat that seems to be overshadowing Bonny James’ debut with the Trojans.
Before the tip-off of the game between USC and Long Beach State on Sunday afternoon, LeBron James made his way to his courtside seats just before the start of the game, while the national anthem was playing.
However, LeBron James chose to completely ignore the national anthem, not even removing his hat.

Not only did LeBron James fail to remove his hat or stop and acknowledge the playing of the national anthem, but he actually caused quite a distraction while The Star-Spangled Banner played to honor America.
James didn’t just quietly slip into his seat, he led a rather large group of people onto the court as they were flanked by an entire camera crew who filmed them walking to their seats and then sitting down.
As LeBron James walked to his seat, many people in the crowd began pulling out their phones to take photos and videos of the NBA legend, further causing a disruption during the national anthem.
All in all, it seems like there could have been a better and more respectful time for him to find his seats.
