Former Saturday Night Live cast member Rob Schneider, who has become a mainstay of the conservative commentary scene in recent years, has come out swinging against Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Kelce, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, has been appearing in ads for Pfizer, promoting the “twofer” of a COVID-19 booster shot and a flu shot at the same time in order to help fight against the spread of both this winter.

That’s made Kelce a prime target for a lot of anti-vax proponents, including Schneider.

The star of the Duece Bigalow franchise is among those who have criticized the NFL star over the campaign. He’s posted several messages to Kelce on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, claiming that Kelce is shilling for a “corrupt and criminal company” and that the vaccines have hurt a lot of people while also linking to an article from The Epoch Times, a far-right media company that has peddled conspiracy theories and anti-vax rhetoric.

COVID-19 is still appearing all over the United States. According to the CDC, the United States had an 8.7 percent test positivity rate the week of October 21, though that number rose to 9 percent in the week of October 28.

Kelce also received some flak from noted anti-vaxxer Aaron Rodgers, who referred to him as Mr. Pfizer. Kelce, meanwhile, has said he has no regrets about getting vaccinated and doing so in order to keep his family safe.
