Former American president Donald Trump is facing a major problem in his golf course empire.

According to Newsweek, Trump is struggling to attract customers to his golf courses despite offering deep discounts online.

“There appears to be close to full availability for tee times at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami on Sunday, with 93 slots listed at the time of writing, according to its website. For some of those tee times, the club is offering discounts between $11 and $45. It comes amid wider reports that the Republican’s golf businesses are struggling,” Kate Plummer of Newsweek wrote.

According to financial statements obtained by Newsweek, Trump National Doral made $4.3 million in profit on $75 million in revenue in 2017. However, revenue fell to less than $45 million in 2020.

Trump is also facing major court action in New York as State Attorney General Letitia James is targeting numerous golf courses in his business portfolio as part of her $250 million fraud lawsuit against the former president.

James alleges that the Trump Organization, under the direction of Trump and his adult sons, inflated financial assets to defraud insurance companies and obtain favorable loans from banks.

Given this latest wave of bad press, things aren’t going well for the former president.

Nevertheless, the world was quick to react to the horrible Donald Trump news:
