The Kansas City Chiefs did not visit the White House following their Super Bowl championship back in 2020 due in large part to the COVID-19 pandemic, but after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles this year to claim another Super Bowl title, the Chiefs will be celebrating with a White House visit this year.
On Sunday afternoon, NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Kansas City Chiefs will be visiting United States President Joe Biden at the White House on Monday to celebrate their Super Bowl Victory.
“The Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are set to visit the White House on Monday. The Chiefs did not visit the White House after their Super Bowl LIV victory in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Schefter wrote on Twitter on Monday.
It’s the first United States President that Andy Reid has visited since Bill Clinton, when he was an assistant coach with the Green Bay Packers.

The Chiefs have now been to the Super Bowl in three of the past four years, winning two titles across those seasons. They’ll hope to defend their Super Bowl title next season and return to the White House for yet another celebration next year.
