Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were reportedly involved in a post-game confrontation after a sloppy ending in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Before losing 121-116 in overtime against the Clippers, Green got the ball with just under five seconds left in the fourth quarter in a tied game. He carried the ball up the court, despite Durant clapping at him for the rock, Green failed to take a shot without ever making a pass.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J Spears of ESPN.com, Green’s decision-making on the play was questioned by Durant and other Warriors player. Green and Durant reportedly created one of “the most intense and volatile” scenes in recent Warriors history with the back and forth. According to Woj and Spears, the incident never got physical.

It’s rare to see such a disruptive incident from the usually squeaky clean, bubbly Warriors. Green and Durant are both All-Stars so to see them get into it is an interesting turn in Golden State. The confrontation could affect Durant’s upcoming free agency, although, it could have just been a moment where the air needed to be cleared by both parties. I’d be surprised if this confrontation hung heavy across the Warriors locker room going forward.
