Antti Raanta hasn’t played with the Chicago Blackhawks since the 2014-15 season, but the Finnish netminder still has the home-ice advantage he had with when playing in Chicago.
In an absurd stat from The Athletic’s Mark Lazerus, Raanta is a ridiculous 16-0-3 at the United Center after his Arizona Coyotes defeated the Blackhawks 4-1 on Thursday. Raanta hasn’t lost in regulation in Chicago EVER.
Antti Raanta now 16-0-3 at the United Center. Pretty amazing.

The 29-year-old is a superb goalie whose career numbers, a 2.29 goals against average and a .922 save percentage in 144 career games, are extremely impressive. The fact he’s never lost in Chicago despite playing more than 10 percent of his games there is nuts. Every time he suited up at the United Center, he’s earned his team at least one point.
There’a big enough sample size to suggest if the Coyotes are ever playing in Chicago, start Raanta. That way, you’re guaranteed a point.
Being so dominant in Chicago must feel incredibly cool for Raanta.
