The Columbus Blue Jackets had a real tough time in the first round of the NHL playoffs against the Washington Capitals, as a quick 2-0 series lead evaporated. Obviously, watching the Blue Jackets lose four straight games and the series hurt fans, but one fan verbalized his frustrations in NSFW comments that were picked up by CNBC mics.

Yes, the fan is telling a referee to “take your glasses off you dumb f-ck.*

Losing the series in such an up-and-down way has got to hurt, but swearing out the referee won’t help anything but the swearing fan’s frustrations. Hilariously, it was caught on a mic. It ain’t easy being a ref – or a Blue Jackets fan, apparently.
