The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers’ magical NCAA Tournament run finally came to an end, but not before they made the Final Four and became America’s team in recent weeks.
And after Loyola’s 69-57 loss to Michigan on Saturday night in San Antonio, Michigan freshman Jordan Poole — the guy from that amazing buzzer-beater — made sure to find Loyola’s biggest star, Sister Jean. Poole went up to the 98-year-old Loyola chaplain and shook her hand, congratulating her on Loyola’s incredible run.
Poole told Sister Jean, “I’m a big fan of you guys. You did an amazing job.”

That’s an awesome move from Poole and he speaks for all of us with those words.
