A snide remark may soon be in the hands of a Georgia football player legally.
Georgia linebacker Davin Bellamy made headlines when after his team’s game against the University of Oklahoma, he shouted “humble yourself” at Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield. The always cocky Mayfield made for an easy target.

The moment became viral and was the perfect moment to top off a legendary game. It is now attempting to be trademarked by Bellamy.
The trademark application was filed January 4, only three days after the game. Bellamy will be going into the draft and isn’t the highest rated player, but this isn’t a bad fall back plan. Why not try and capitalize on your viral moment? For as standard of a phrase as it is, it all makes sense to file the trademark and cash in.
